Catering & Dining

Catering & Dining

If you are in need of catering for your reception, we can assist you in finding the right vendor who is reliable, make great food, and fits your budget. Some of the reception venues provide catering and food for their facilities, and some DO NOT allow outside catering. Other venues do allow outside catering. Some venues REQUIRE outside catering.

You need to decide if you are looking for a sit down dinner with full service, or a buffet style caterer. This can be as simple as finger food or Hors d’oeuvres, breakfast food (for morning receptions) or dinners. You can select ethic style food, (Italian, Greek, Asian, etc.) or build your own menu.

We recommend that you do research on the average cost per person for different types of catering approaches so that you can plan according and set up a budget. Read this blog.

Alcohol

Some reception venues have a liquor license and they require you to use their license, bartender and liquor. In this instance, you may have the option to set up an open bar, cash bar or an open bar with a max budget, which when reached then turns into a cash bar. Other venues have no food or liquor services, so you are allowed to bring your own, outside beer, wine, and liquor into the venue. We can provide a bartender for this type of venue.

Dining

For smaller weddings (30 or less people) , you may opt to go out to breakfast/lunch/dinner at a local restaurant. In this event, we can do the legwork and find a great match for your budget, food preference, accessibility and privacy needs. We will find out if the restaurant is available for your party on your date and time. We will then put you in contact with the right choices for your dining needs.
